Frequently asked questions

I am 14 and what is this

This is a dating site for geeks, duh. You can learn all about us on our 'About this site' page. And if you're 14 then you're too young to be on here, get off my lawn!

Is this really a free service?

Like most services on the web, there are different levels of membership. It's totally free to join, create a profile with a photo, search our database and flirt with people you're interested in. The premium membership allows you to do more advanced things like save your searches, video chat and add more photos. And it only costs a few pennies a day!

Can I join if I'm not a geek?

Technically yes, but only if you genuinely like geeks. As in, are attracted to them. Otherwise things will get awkward quickly.

Is the site LGBT-friendly?

We certainly are! If you're a man seeking a man, simply select those two options on the search box at the homepage. Likewise if you are a woman seeking a woman. We have been gay-friendly from day one.

Can I post 'adult' pictures of myself on the site?

Well, we will not accept baby photos of you no matter how cute you looked! If you mean naked photos then afraid not, you must be fully clothed in your profile pics.

Are my details secure?

Absolutely. We have very strong data protection policies in place and our system is designed to keep all your information 100% secure and confidential at all times. We never give out personal details unless required to do so under very special circumstances by law or other decree. Even then, we will do everything within our power to ensure there is no other way around it. Privacy is extremely important to us as it is one of the key foundations of a successful dating site.

Can I find members from other countries?

We currently are only active in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland. There are currently no firm plans to expand into other countries but watch this space.

Who do I contact for support?

You can get support either by phone (UK number) or email. Visit our contact page to get in touch.
